On good DIY sites, the editor will make sure on their articles and especially student how-to’s.
Library
The libraries in the area the student is going to school at will have books, and media explaining how to write these. Also the staff all have been in school themselves to learn Library science, and have had to do these. So they can help explain what and how to write one. The school and public libraries can also direct the student to the better guides to help them with their work.
